Character sketch

I had to write a character sketch for English and I feel like posting it haha.

My Pastors Daughter:

A nice and thoughtful person my pastors daughter has been and will always be.
Godly, helpful, and funny defines her perfectly. Her clothes are always modest, cute, and totally her. She talks about the clothes she buys and the clothes she keeps. Don't worry about money cause she always gets them cheap.
She never says anything bad cause shes watching out for her kids.She tends to hang out with teens, since it probably makes her feel young again. Everybody says when they're together to hang out. "that shes always fun and a little strange." Hey, at least they know what they're talking about.
When she has something to say she tells it straight to you. She doesn't beat around the bush she just gives you that needed push. People thank her for not sparing their feelings and lying because she knows when that happens it can be oh so trying. She's always with her family, in church, and in choir.
The one thing that makes her different of every person with the same characteristics. She has an amazing singing voice that she uses always to glorify Jesus Christ. In everything she does she trys to glorify Christ, cause after all what better goal is there in life?

NEW School prayer:


Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair cam be pink, purple, orange, or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.

We can get our supply of birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires, and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school is a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen.

Poem I had to write for English

The music ringing and the choir singing.
The Pastor preaching and the people in their seats.
The food we eat and the friends we Love.
The family we fight with but would never give up.
The sunshine in our hair somehow ties it all together.
The things we love just somehow fall together.

When all else seems to fail

Do you ever feel like you've been in a really deep valley or climbing a really high mountain? Have you ever felt like giving up and not wanting to ever try again? This place is a real sucky place to be. You want to give up, you feel like you cant go any farther and all you want to do is breakdown and cry.You know thats not what your supossed to do. So what are you supossed to do? Your supossed to call on God the almighty and ask him to help you through the storm. God wants to help you buy he cant help if you dont want him to and he wont help if you dont ask. John 16:24 says Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. Even when it seems like everything is failing you look to God because he wont. He will always be there he never leaves God is there those nights when your crying alone on your bed. He is simply sitting there saying its going to be okay just look to me and I will make everything better. I know sometimes we feel like God isnt awnsering us but let me ask you something is God not awnsering you or are you not listening for him? Also remember that good htings come to people who wait God might have you in this situation for a eason maybe its to learn something or more than likley its to get you to look to him in everything you do. Im not saying that if your always praying at reading your Bible that trials wont came cause they will but when those trials do come they will be much more easier to get through. :D

People compared to God who wins?

You know how you have certain people in your life that you feel you could never live without? If they ever left you wouldn't know what to do? Ive had a couple of these people leave before and trust me its one of the hardest things ever to get through. I don't think you'll ever really understand why things like this happen they just do. When you go through this you really have to turn to God. The first person I had leave I tryed to figure it out all by myself and I never figured it out. The next time it happened though immediately I turned to God and he has been helping me through it ever since. It amazing what God can do when you yield your will and give it all to God. Ive been struggling with trying to understand why these people leave but then I realized something very important. That it doesn't matter why they left all that matters is that they did and that Gods gonna be there every step of the way cause that's how amazing our God is. <3

Do hard things

Heyy well I have some things to say. so sit back and get ready. lol. Well My friends had been talking about this conference call the rebelution. I didnt really know what it was so therefore I wasnt that intrested, but my friends kept asking me and I kept saying well I have to babysit and I dont think i can ge4t out of it. I decided to ask my parents anyway and they said yah we dont need you saturday so I ended up going. So while I was there I was listening to the video and taking notes. Well by the end of the conference I knew excatlly why Everything worked out so well. God obviouslly wanted me there!! The rebelution is teenage rebelion against low expectations, by setting their standards higher than odays society expects them to reach. It's all about teenagers doing hard things for God, and after that conference I knew thats what I should be doing. Is hould be doing hard things for God!!So I came home telling my family what I learned and how it convicted me, but I still had that one question in my head. It was How can I do hard things for God yah its easy to say I want to do hard things but the real question was how?? Well I asked my mom that one question and she said well you could do a conference like they did there. I said well they just did that there and that was pretty local so. Then I said hey I got it I can start a teen bible study in the church. Mom said thats a good idea. I checked online and they have a study book!! I mean how good did that work out. Or should I say How Great is God!! So I talked to my Pastor and he said I could do It so now Im doing a bible study I have to talk to all the teens and see if they want to do it but I bet they will. So that is my testimony of just getting started to do hard things for God. So what do you say are you with me or not?
